Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Traffic Controller to help manage the safe flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic around our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure safety compliance, prevent accidents, and facilitate efficient traffic movement during construction activities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signs.
- Direct and control traffic flow safely around construction zones.
- Communicate with site supervisors and workers to coordinate safe traffic movement.
- Monitor work zones and report any hazards or incidents promptly.
- Assist pedestrians in navigating around construction areas safely.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience in traffic control or construction site safety preferred.
- Knowledge of traffic control devices and procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and alertness.
- Certification in traffic control (if required by local regulations) is an asset.
- Reliable and punctual with good physical stamina.
